| Psalm 21: After many years, a dear friend of mine came to a place where she could speak openly about her battle with an eating disorder. I believe that the Psalms provide us with a lens through which we can view our lives, and I asked her to try engaging with the Psalms in a unique way. For every line I read to her, she would respond based on her deeply personal battle not only to survive but thrive in the face of great adversity. Psalm 21 became her favorite and I am honored she shared her body and soul healing process with me. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
